Shelter Medicine
Shelter Medicine is a diverse, exciting and ever-evolving field in veterinary medicine. With a focus on disease prevention, preventative care and internal medicine, our Veterinary Services Team does it all! We treat a variety of medical needs, from neonatal kittens to arthritic senior pets and everything in between. Sometimes our veterinarians only perform an initial assessment, but many cases require ongoing veterinary care with repeated exams. We provide comprehensive medical services and care for all treatable medical conditions, including spay & neuter surgery to prevent unwanted litters, dental surgery, mass removals, eye surgery, amputations, wound repairs and more. At Seattle Humane, providing high quality medical care is a huge point of pride, and something we achieve each day!
If you have adopted a pet from Seattle Humane within the past 30 days and they are in need of medical attention, please contact vets@seattlehumane.org to see if we can provide assistance.
