Lots of love on Giving Tuesday

Together, we exceeded our $100,000 goal for Giving Tuesday 2025, raising over $120,000 thanks to the generous support of our community! Those gifts unlocked another $100,000 in matching funds, bringing us to a total of $220,000 raised for this years’ Giving Tuesday!

Seattle Humane Welcomes Kitten Lady Hannah Shaw!

Seattle Humane is excited to welcome Kitten Lady Hannah Shaw for a fun and inspiring day of community connection, compassion and lifesaving insights for cats and kittens. 

Events at the Shelter

The following classes and events are all held at Seattle Humane, 13212 SE Eastgate Way, Bellevue, WA. 

Each day at camp features animal interactions, games, guest speakers and creative crafts. Camps run Monday to Thursday, 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

Tuition is $695.

Registration is now open for Kids Day Camp and Teen Day Camp!

Connect with fellow animal lovers while learning how animal shelters operate and participating in meaningful service activities. The workshop also includes an animal-themed educational lesson, a chance to interact with a furry friend, and a behind-the-scenes tour of Seattle Humane. Participants will earn three hours of community service.

Discover how a shelter cares for pets and make new friends while participating in fun animal-themed activities. Participants will learn about the animals served by Seattle Humane, have the opportunity to meet a furry friend, enjoy a behind-the-scenes look at the shelter, and work on creative crafts and games.

March 18 | 4-6 p.m.

Students in grades 9-12 are invited to assist with routine shelter tasks, meet other teens, and earn community service hours at Seattle Humane. High school service shifts are available on dates we have a high need for volunteers. Advance registration is required.

There is a $28 registration fee to cover staff time needed to train and supervise participants. Please reach out to EducationServices@seattlehumane.org with questions.

Dog Training

A well-trained dog is a happy dog, and that makes for a happy owner! Seattle Humane offers a variety of dog and puppy training courses. Our effective, positive-reinforcement based training classes focus on good manners in the real world, socialization, bonding and giving you the tools to prevent or address behavior challenges.
