Lots of love on Giving Tuesday
Together, we exceeded our $100,000 goal for Giving Tuesday 2025, raising over $120,000 thanks to the generous support of our community! Those gifts unlocked another $100,000 in matching funds, bringing us to a total of $220,000 raised for this years’ Giving Tuesday!

One of our most important fundraisers of the year, Day of Giving is about uniting our local community to raise funds in support of lifesaving work throughout the year. With your help, we were able to raise over $160,000 and surpass our fundraising goals for Day of Giving!

Young Teen Winter Break Workshops

All workshops are from 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. and cost $155.
When school is out, join us for some animal-themed fun! For youth currently in grades 6-8. Socialize with other animal lovers while learning about how animal shelters operate and working on service activities together. Earns three hours of community service.

When school is out, join us for some animal-themed fun! For youth currently in grades 2-5. Learn about pets at the shelter, meet a few furry friends, and work on winter-themed crafts and activities.
High School Service Shifts
December 17 | 4-5 p.m.
January 5, 7, 12, 21 & 28 | 4-5 p.m.
Students in grades 9-12 are invited to assist with routine shelter tasks, meet other teens, and earn community service hours at Seattle Humane. High school service shifts are available on dates we have a high need for volunteers. Advance registration is required.
There is a $28 registration fee to cover staff time needed to train and supervise participants. Please reach out to EducationServices@seattlehumane.org with questions.
Wiggle & Wag Story Time
More dates coming soon!
Bring your little ones to the shelter on select weekends to play and learn together. We’ll read a story together, work on a craft, and practice respect and appreciation for pets. Wiggle & Wag Story time is for 3-7 year-olds and there is some “wiggle room” for older or younger siblings. Adult supervision is required. Drop-ins accepted as space allows.
Cost: $25/family

Shopping for your furry friend? Add a little extra cheer by donating pet food or supplies to Seattle Humane at participating Mud Bay and Pet Pros locations. Your generosity keeps Seattle Humane’s Oogie’s Ohana Pet Food Bank stocked, supporting pets and community members who need a little extra help this holiday season. We are most in need of wet dog and cat food, dry dog and cat food, clumping clay kitty litter, dog and cat toys and treats.

Dog Training
A well-trained dog is a happy dog, and that makes for a happy owner! Seattle Humane offers a variety of dog and puppy training courses. Our effective, positive-reinforcement based training classes focus on good manners in the real world, socialization, bonding and giving you the tools to prevent or address behavior challenges.
