Catch Seattle Humane’s Baguette in Puppy Bowl XXII
Our star pup-lete, Baguette, arrived at Seattle Humane with three siblings and no mother at just four days old. The odds were against her, but with round-the-clock care from our dedicated staff and volunteers, all four puppies began to grow stronger—thriving against expectations. Baguette (now Goldie) is settling in with her new family and is ready for her debut in Puppy Bowl XXII on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at 11 a.m. PT, airing on Animal Planet, Discovery, TBS, truTV, HBO Max and discovery+.
Saving Lives, Completing Families
Founded in 1897, Seattle Humane proudly promotes the human-animal bond by saving and serving pets in need. We are more than a shelter – Seattle Humane is a resource center for the region, providing adoption services, a pet food bank and support for pet owners, low-cost spay/neuter surgeries and wellness exams, humane education for all ages and more. All made possible through the support of a generous community.
Featured Pet: Muffin
Meet Muffin! She’s a sweet 3-year-old pittie who loves to cuddle and give kisses. Sometimes when she’s excited, her whole body wiggles! Some of her favorite activities include playing with tug toys, going for walks and bird watching. Stop by Seattle Humane to meet Muffin today! Her new family can name her adoption fee.
Foster a Pet!
Shelters across the country are full of large dogs, and the longer they stay, the more stressed they become. While adoption is the goal, the next best solution to reducing stress is getting them into loving foster homes. Seattle Humane is looking for foster parents who can give some of our large dogs a break!
Take Action for Animals
The Washington State legislative session is underway starting 1/12 and Seattle Humane is advocating for pets, focusing on affordable housing and veterinary care. Use our new Take Action tool to contact lawmakers and stand up for animals statewide.
Time for Training!
Our dog training classes utilize positive, dog-friendly methods effective for dogs and puppies of all ages. We focus on good manners in the real world, socialization, and giving you the tools to prevent or address behavior problems.
