Happy National Volunteer Week and a BIG thank you to all of our wonderful volunteers who spend many hours donating their time to the pets in our care!
This last fiscal year, volunteers donated more than 212,000 hours of their time! Volunteers at Seattle Humane are the engine to our ship and we couldn’t do it without them. Many volunteers spent hours on and off campus catering to the needs of our pets. The work our organization accomplishes simply would not be possible without the generous contributions of our volunteers. Volunteers are constantly helping with adoptions, foster care, cleaning, grooming and socializing our shelter guests. Their work is not only limited to our pets in need, volunteers also help out with fundraising, our education department, special events, reception and many other areas. Volunteers truly make all the difference! Please help us in giving them a big Seattle Humane thank you!
If you would like to join the fun and become a volunteer at Seattle Humane, it’s easy to get started. All you need to do is just attend an HS 101 class – there’s no need to sign up, just show up!
