Teen Play Skills Sessions

For dogs 6–12 months old

Teen Play Skills Sessions

These 45-minute, off-leash play sessions give teenage puppies a safe, structured space to burn off energy, build social skills, and enjoy appropriate play with other dogs. We offer a mixed size play and small dog (under 20 lbs) play option.

Each session includes on-leash breaks, during which trainers guide handlers through simple exercises to help pups regulate excitement and stay engaged. These classes are ideal for friendly, well-socialized dogs. They are  not suitable for dogs who are reactive, very shy, or show signs of aggression.

Vaccinations Required: Dogs must have completed all rounds of DHPP / DA2PP / DHLPP and Rabies at least 7 days before class. Bordetella is recommended but not required.

Teen Play Skills

Weight: For dogs of all sizes, Trainers will separate dogs into playgroups based on size and temperament.

This 30 minute session allows puppies to continue learning and practicing important skills as they become older teens and will include on-leash breaks throughout the session, where our experienced trainers guide you through exercises to help your puppy regulate excitement and strengthen the bond with you as their handler.

Teen Play Skills (Under 20 lbs)

Weight: For dogs under 20 lbs who prefer the company of other small dogs.

This 30-minute session gives smaller teenage dogs (6–12 months) the chance to continue practicing appropriate play and social skills in a group of similarly sized peers. Trainers will create a safe and supportive environment that respects the unique play styles and comfort levels of small dogs.
