Open Classes

Puppy Head Start (8-14 weeks old)

We focus on puppyhood priorities: socialization, bite inhibition, and the prevention of common behavior problems. You'll also learn about house training, crate training, puppy nipping, chewing, home alone training, and polite manners. Do not bring your puppy to the first class. Register for Puppy Head Start

Puppy Manners (15-20 weeks old)

Class includes basic training and ongoing socialization for puppies. Enroll as a continuation of Puppy Head Start or as puppy’s first class. Topics include polite greetings, basic skills, problem-solving and off-leash play in puppy play groups. Please do not bring your puppy to the first class. Register for Puppy Manners

Dog Manners 1 (5 months and older)

Dog Manners is all about building the dog/handler relationship through training, leadership, and awareness of how dogs communicate. In class, we cover polite greetings, basic skills, and techniques for preventing unwanted behavior. Please do not bring your dog to the first class. Register for Dog Manners 1

Dog Manners 2

Take it to the next level with speedier responses, fewer food rewards, and “free shaping” with the clicker. We work on recall skills, precision leash walking, and focus on handling around other dogs. This manners class emphasizes reliable responses and more distance, distraction, and duration. Register for Dog Manners 2

Shy Dog Manners

Shy Dog Manners covers the same topics as we cover in Dog Manners, but the class is designed for dogs who are fearful of new people, dogs, and/or certain environments. It's a safe space for your dog to learn and maybe even make friends. Please do not bring your dog to the first class. Register for Shy Dog Manners
