Microchipping

Microchipping makes it easy to identify your pets if they are lost. Each chip number is unique and is registered with a national database. This number links to your address and phone number. Most animal organizations and veterinary clinics can scan and read microchips.

Low-cost microchipping

We offer affordable microchipping as a service to animals of low-income pet owners. Appointments are available on a walk-in basis 7 days a week from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the medical clinic.

Please print and submit the Microchip Implant & Vaccination Form to clinic staff when you arrive. You may also email the form to [email protected] with your full name and reference the email when you check in.

Microchip: $20

Please note that animal shelters cannot provide services outside of spay/neuter, microchips or vaccinations to publicly-owned pets.

Vaccinations are only available with spay/neuter surgery at this time.
Rabies vaccination: $15
Other vaccinations: $10

Please check the chart below to see if you qualify for these services.

Qualified Income Households

We can only offer services to pets who belong to owners whose income is less than 80 percent of the median family income in their area.

Please refer to the chart below to see if you qualify. If you do, microchipping your pets will cost just $20.00 per animal and includes national registration.
