Open workshops Pet CPR and First Aid
Do you know what to do for your pet in an emergency? Attend our 3.5-hour pet CPR and first aid workshop to learn medical response and disaster preparedness for pets. Students will receive a completion certificate.
Dates (choose one): Sept. 15, Dec. 1 Time: 9 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. One-time class: Oct. 21 Time: 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.

Register for Pet CPR Pet Loss Support
Pet Loss Support offers a place for you to work through the grief process in a non-judgmental environment with others who have suffered a similar loss. There is no fee and you are free to attend as often as necessary throughout your grief process.
Sessions are held on the first and third Saturday of each month from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at our shelter in Room 2039 on the third floor.

This is a two-hour session for humans only that will give you a comprehensive look at how dogs learn, how to teach them using positive reinforcement-based training, and the clicker method. You’ll also learn about how dogs communicate and how to address common behavior problems. We encourage anyone who will be training a dog to attend. This class is open to the community as a learning opportunity at no cost.
