Boarding
Our Boarding Center serves to further nurture the relationship between people and pets by allowing families to safely leave their dogs while they are away on vacation. The services provided by our staff for these animals ensure that companionship is never interrupted.

Facility Information
Dogs are housed in a 4-by-4 foot inside kennel with a heated floor and with free access to a covered 11-by-4 foot outside kennel. Dogs will only be housed together with other dogs from the same home.
Boarding Hours
Our Boarding Center is open seven days a week from 7-6pm. It is closed on major holidays.
Reservations
For further information or to make a reservation, call (425) 643-5960 or email at Boarding@SeattleHumane.org. Reservations for a specific date may be made up to three months in advance, with prepayment which is non-refundable.
Dogs must be at least 6 months old and you need to provide proof (veterinary receipt) that vaccinations were given according the AVMA recommended schedule for dogs:
DHP2
Bordetella (intranasal)
1- or 3-year rabies
Boarding Fees
Reservation and fees are for day in through day out. Animals picked up by 9 am on the day out will not be charged for that day.
Single day boarding $35
Additional dog in same kennel & from same owner $10.00 off
Day Care (by appointment only) $20.00 per day
Administering Medication $2.00-$5.00 per occurrence
Extra Feedings $2.00 per occurrence
Exercise $10.00 per extra 20 minute playtime
- Included in rates:
- Daily 20-minute exercise period (play/hugs/petting)
- Twice a day feeding
- Kuranda dog bed and Kong (toy)*
- $5.00 discount for a bath when you pick up your dog (or closest available day)
*No personal bedding will be accepted, although crates or one or two toys are fine.
