Microchipping makes it easy to identify your pets if they are ever lost. Each chip number is unique and is registered with a national database. This number links to your address and phone number. Most animal organizations and veterinary clinics can scan and read microchips.

Low-cost microchipping

We offer low-cost microchipping as a service to animals of low-income pet owners. Please check the chart below to see if you qualify for this service.  If you do, you are welcome to drop in for in with your pet for microchipping 7 days a week from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Qualified Income Households

We will only microchip pets that belong to owners whose income is less than 80 percent of the median family income in their area.

Please refer to the chart below to see if you qualify. If you do, microchipping your pets will cost just $20.00 per animal and includes national registration.
