Mendel is a handsome 6-year-old gray tabby with white feet and a blaze up his nose. Speaking of feet: Mendel has the best toes ever! He’s polydactyl, which means he has more than his fair share of toes! He is quiet, except when you pet him, and then he's a total purr-machine! He runs around the house or lounges in my favorite reading chair on his back purring at me until I give him pets. Mendel is pretty reserved and independent, and people who see him always comment on his beautiful eyes. He's also a big boy who is very affectionate and loving. Mendel is declawed so he’ll need to stay indoors for his safety. Mendel loves watching toys. If you wave a toy to entice him in play, he’ll watch really intensely and eventually bat at it. Mendel is great entertainment and great company. He also loves to drink out of the faucet!

As with all of our cats, Mendel has been neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated and tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. He will go home with a certificate for an examination by a King County veterinarian and a collar with an identification tag.
