Although we may not always have immediate openings for every position, we are always looking for great people to join our team at the Seattle Humane Society. Please note: We do not have evening hours and most of our part-time positions require employees to work 2-3 full days (we do not have half-day positions). Most of our full-time positions require employees to work one weekend day every week.

Adoptions & Kennel Technicians
While we don't currently have any openings, we ALWAYS accept applications for future consideration. Most positions start at $10.00 per hour. We have a variety of full time and part time schedules so don't hesitate to apply.
Licensed Veterinary Technician
If you enjoy a fast pace and have experience working in a shelter this is the place for you! We have a rare opening for a full time LVT. The LVT assists the veterinarian in all aspects of medical care. You will work closely with the Shelter Clinic Manager to provide positive motivation to the rest of the vet services staff and to ensure standards are upheld and daily schedules are met. We provide fully paid medical and dental benefits, 3 weeks of paid time off your first year, 10 paid holidays and much more! Please provide an application, resume and salary history.
