IRA Charitable Rollover Extension
As of October 2, 2008, the IRA Charitable Rollover has been extended to allow individuals age 70.5 and older to distribute any portion of their IRA up to $100,000 to a charity of their choice without incurring taxes. The extension is retroactive, applying to distributions made throughout both the 2008 and 2009 tax years.
Take advantage of this new law and you will provide funding for the life-saving programs and services of the Seattle Humane Society TAX FREE.

Workplace Giving
Do you work for a company that participates in workplace giving campaigns? All you need to do is indicate that you would like your payroll deductions to benefit the Seattle Humane Society. If you give just $10 out of each bi-weekly paycheck, you will be able to give a total of $240 a year! That $240 will go a long way toward saving the lives of the many abandoned kittens and puppies who come through our doors each week.
