Behavior Assessment 
Every dog at the Seattle Humane Society takes a Behavior Assessment. This assessment helps us to determine what type of home environment will be best for each dog. It also helps us know what type of training will benefit that dog most while she is in our care and waiting for us to find her a home of her own. Our Behavior Department staff tests for comfort during handling, food or resource guarding, responses to surprises, interaction with other dogs and more.
