Adoption Advisor

If you are a people-person who would love to help animals find a home of their own, this position may be just right for you! The Adoption Advisor is responsible for working with the public to match the appropriate animal to the interested applicant. You must have terrific customer service skills, an outgoing personality and great juggling skills - lots of multi-tasking. We have part-time positions available.

Animal Care Technician

Here at Seattle Humane, we care for hundreds of fabulous felines and cute canines every day and each one requires care tailored to their needs. From feeding and cleaning to grooming and moving, an Animal Care Assistant’s job is fast-paced and fun. Not only do you get to work with amazing cats and dogs, but you get to work with the best darn people around- our volunteers! Animal care assistants are the glue that keeps the shelter running so if you're motivated, hard-working, and interested in animal care, apply today! 

Foster Coordinator

Foster Care is an amazing way to maximize lives saved by giving animals the time and space they need to get ready for adoption while enjoying the comforts of a home. At Seattle Humane foster care literally saves thousands of lives each year. Our foster families care for every type of issue from neonate kittens to geriatric dogs and everything in between! We’re looking for a full time Foster Coordinator to organize, match-make, and coordinate on behalf of our pets and our dedicated foster volunteers!  This challenging but rewarding job offers the opportunity to work with both dogs and cats, and with dynamic cases that involve medical and/or behavioral components. Foster Assistant

Our foster program is a lifesaving tool for getting animals ready for adoption. However, there’s a lot of work that goes on behind the scenes! We’re looking for a hard-working and dedicated person to help us keep our program running smoothly. The foster assistant does veterinary tasks like vaccinating, assisting with medical check-ins, and helping with veterinary appointments, as well as administrative tasks. This is a great job for someone who is interested in veterinary care and animal sheltering.  This position is part time and requires weekend work.

Admissions Advisor

Love helping people and animals at the same time? Keep reading! As an admissions advisor, it’s critical to provide timely support and guidance when people are having trouble with their pet. Sometimes surrendering the pet is the right path but often the solution to their problem lies in behavioral support, low-cost veterinary resources, or just talking through all the options available to them within the community.  Seattle Humane is a resource for the community when they need it most.
